The Conceptus Bite Switch is ready-to-use with most Canon cameras and can be adapted to almost any camera with a remote shutter release jack. It’s easy to connect and disconnect from your camera, and can be easily spit out at the end of the dive or if you need to cut away your headgear.

The Conceptus Bite switch with Canon digital plug is compatible with many of the Canon series of digital cameras, such as the EOS 1D, 5D, 10D, 20D, 30D and 40D.

This is a mouth-operated, totally electronic shutter releases for use with any still camera with a remote shutter release jack. The switch plugs directly into the camera without need for a separate switch module. The design is securely sealed and waterproof. Since the switch is mouth-operated, it does not interfere with grips on exits or in freefall, or with canopy deployment, control and emergency procedures.

The Conceptus Tongue Switch comprises of a 1/2″ pressure-sensitive switch mechanism, a 1″ flattened and bite-resistant stem, a 36″ coaxial wire, and a 2.5mm plug with a 90 degree elbow bend.

It is configured so that the pressure-sensitive switch face is always oriented towards the user’s tongue, regardless of the direction of insertion into the mouth, thus allowing the wire to be routed to the left or the right.

Similar to the Bite Switch except this is controlled by your tongue. The Tongue Switch works with even the tightest full-face headgear and chin cups, and requires no jaw movement or blowing. It is operated by a movement similar to pressing your tongue against the front teeth.
