The HyPeye Mini camera status indicator works with most LANC equipped video camcorders. Both new and old Sony’s as well as Canon video cameras are compatible with the HyPeye Mini.

The active area is bendable to retain it’s position in the sky and while putting on and off your helmet. This super bright LED (2600 mcd) is side visible up to 120 degrees and will not be missed in freefall if properly mounted. The unit mounts in the helmet forehead area and can be formed to contour the face. The LED is meant to be positioned just above the eye and not pointed into the eye.

Note: OPTIMA II users must have the “Optima II Audible Altimeter + Visual Warning Port” version with a MMCX jack on the side of the unit. The original Optima has this port standard.
