GPS Tracks
The Insight has integrated GPS and will automatically record your track during each skydive, so you can focus on your jump instead of managing your GPS device. There is an option for manual recording as well, so you can use the Insight for any activity where you want GPS data recorded (think BASE, speed flying, paragliding, or anything else really).

View a sample GPS track file here. These files can be imported into common viewing programs.

GPS Data Feedback
In the plane and under canopy the Insight can show you important information to make you a more informed skydiver. Anything from heading over the ground, groundspeed, glide ratio, distance to your marked landing zone, direction to the LZ, and a whole lot more. The Insight assists you to be a safer and more informed jumper, without being distracting.

Wireless Connectivity
Currently connects to HUD glasses (powered by Engo). Additional peripheral apps and devices (coming 2025) will wirelessly connect to the Insight.

Long Battery Life
Skydiving every weekend, the Insight will last roughly 4 weeks before needing a charge. If jumping every day, the Insight can last 10 to 16 days. This will depend slightly on the different functions used, as systems such as the display light and GPS recording will drain the battery more quickly.

Large Daylight Readable Display
Our display is specifically designed to have excellent daylight viewing. And it has a wide viewing angle of 120 degrees horizontal and vertical. The display even works with polarized sunglasses (note, there is still a certain angle with polarized lenses that the display will look entirely black).

Water resistant
The Insight is water ingress tested for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. Don’t take it SCUBA, do swoop the pond!

Gorilla Glass Screen
Hardened glass that is scratch resistant and difficult to crack. This is the same glass used on phones and high end watches.

USB-C
The Insight charges its battery via USB-C and also acts as a USB file system when connected to your computer via USB-C.

Forgot to charge your altimeter for a month or two? No worries, plug in the Insight for 20 minutes and you’ll have enough juice to jump for the rest of the day. Or fully charge the battery from 0% to 100% in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Easy to View and Save Logbook
The latest 20 skydives can easily be viewed directly from the Insight’s logbook screen.

The full logbook is a comma separated file, accessible on your computer or phone by simply connecting the device using a USB cable. When the Insight is in USB Connect mode, it will show up as a drive. Easily view your full logbook, which can hold 60,000+ skydives, on your favorite spreadsheet program or logbook software, as well as all of your saved GPS tracks files.

Automatic Off (Shutdown)
The Insight will automatically shut off 14 hours after it was turned on for the day. This is done to save battery and can extend the “shelf life” of the device by over 50%. The Insight will not shut down unless it is at ground level when the 14 hour time limit is reached.

Automatic Display Lighting
The Insight will automatically enable the display light when the ambient lighting is dim or completely dark. There is no menu option to turn on the night light mode. The night light turns on when the altimeter detects that it is descending (while in freefall or under a canopy). It is not enabled by default while sitting on the
round in order to save battery. However, pressing any button will temporarily light up the screen for 15 seconds if the ambient light is dim. There is also a menu option to turn on the light on permanently if the automatic feature isn’t appropriate for your specific skydive.
