This switch fits comfortably in your mouth, is extremely easy to use, and will take one or multiple exposures. It is perfect for freeflyers and anyone wanting hands-free photography without jumpsuit circuitry.
Individually tested and guaranteed to function for thousands of shots.
The Tongue Switch is comprises of a 1/2″ pressure-sensitive switch mechanism, a 1″ flattened and bite-resistant stem, a 36″ coaxial wire, and a digital plug with a 90 degree elbow bend. It is configured so that the pressure-sensitive switch face is always oriented towards the user’s tongue, regardless of the direction of insertion into the mouth, thus allowing the wire to be routed to the left or the right.
The Conceptus Tongue Switch is ready-to-use with most Canon cameras and can be adapted to almost any camera with a remote shutter release jack. It’s easy to connect and disconnect from your camera, and can be easily spit out at the end of the dive or if you need to cut away your headgear.
Similar to the Bite Switch except this is controlled by your tongue. The Tongue Switch works with even the tightest full-face headgear and chin cups, and requires no jaw movement or blowing. It is operated by a movement similar to pressing your tongue against the front teeth.
It measures 23″ long, switch body is 1/2″ wide. (If you need a 2.5 plug see item L1334.)
