Cutter Unit – Full Inox Cutter (Type 3)

Specially developed for Vigil® (patented technology -EU Patent N° EP1512626A2 )
The cutter severs the reserve loop by a pyrotechnical cutting action with a circular knife
It will eventually melt the loop to ensure its separation due to high internal temperature
The cutter is completely confined to avoid any possible damage to the parachute
Cuts the loop in less than 2 milliseconds
Strong and flexible connecting wire (kevlar reinforced)
No interconnections (same wire from connector to detonator)
Wire-cutter connection resists up to 50 kg traction
Easy cutter replacement
